The following extract is of no connection but it interested me.
The banns of marriage between William DAYCOCK and Martha BOWLES both of this parish were published in this church by me Charles COLEMAN Rector.
N.B. These banns were forbidden by Alice COOK of the parish of Winterbourne Earls Aug 6th and 13th 1786. The said William DAYCOCK having a female child by her and having been published in the church of Winterbourne Earls by banns three Sundays to her before. William DAYCOCK was afterwards married to Martha BOWLES by advice of the Spiritual Court and Bishop of Salisbury by Charles COLEMAN.
