Agnes was born in Rich, Australia to Alexander HIGGIE and Sarah KILPATRICK. I haven't managed to find out why they were in Australia yet. Alexander was born in Luthrie, Fife, Scotland.
She married Charles BLIGHT on 6-Sep-1881 in Bombay, India. Charles was 40 and Agnes was only 17. They had 2 children, George Alexander born 22-Aug-1882 in Bombay and James Henry born 10-Jan-1884 in Barnstaple, Devon. James Henry was my great grandfather. Unfortunately Charles died in October 1884.
